I like Obama. I really do. I would love to see him succeed, politically. But no matter what, it should not be forgotten that he has already succeeded in the most the important of ways: as man, a husband, and a father:

Obama succeeds as a man, a husband, and a father

Hi Chase,
yes — you’re correct, I don’t have first hand knowledge, but it’s my sense, my guess from all the available evidence. If Obama turned out to not be the type of man he appears to be, that would be a huge disappointment. Everyone’s disappointment in Bill Clinton was his indiscretions in office. Not only is such behavior very disappointing, the consequences started distracting Bill from his job. Bush, as a man, was arrogant and unprincipled, and did a terrific job in helping to end the modern conservative movement (because too many stupid conservatives blindly went along with guy). While I think Obama liberal agenda will fail, I hope, when all is said and done, that I’ll still admire him as a man, a person, who honesty and to the best of his ability, did his absolute best. I disagree with Obama, but I do respect him.
